Our structure
If you’re one of our long-term US customers, you may recall our previous office in Greer, SC. We are deeply appreciative of that era, but we're equally thrilled by the remarkable transformations that have taken place since then.
In 2015, we had the privilege of relocating our headquarters to our new facility in Roebuck, SC. Our current establishment is a testament to our commitment to serving your business needs.
Our facility boasts over 100,000 square feet on 21 acres of lush surroundings, which provide a picturesque natural backdrop. We firmly believe that the environment in which you immerse yourself every day can influence your thoughts and actions. It's a privilege to witness breathtaking sunrises and sunsets from our HQ.
From the very beginning, it was our vision to have the physical space, machinery, and tools needed to undertake a wide array of projects, and our location on Stone Station Road has made that vision a reality.
Our industrial shed houses an array of panels, robots, materials, and various equipment to develop solutions for our customers. It's also home to some special, feathered visitors: our beloved doves. Not a day goes by without this heartwarming encounter—a family of doves that greets us warmly. Nature is truly wonderful, and our appreciation for it runs deep.
Our story
KING Automation began with a vision.
KING Automation had humble beginnings, much like many stories behind successful businesses. Our founders, Emerson and Simone Strobel, envisioned creating something new and impactful — something that transcended not only their personal aspirations but also the boundaries of their country. Their dream was to use their talents and gifts to serve and make a difference.
Through unwavering determination, countless risks, and a willingness to put everything on the line, their vision gave birth to a company. The love for engineering and machines was a constant presence in the lives of Emerson and his brothers, Edson and Robson Strobel, from their early days in Brazil. This passion, inherited from their grandfather, naturally led them to pursue studies in electrical engineering and computer science, and they have dedicated their lives to applying their knowledge to create and innovate.
When Emerson and his wife, Simone, came to the United States and decided to establish KING Automation in the U.S., their venture received not only her support but also the backing of his brothers and other family members. Suddenly, the business evolved from being solely an engineering company into a shared dream that united people who cared deeply for one another.
Today, KING Automation specializes in design and development solutions, software, hardware, systems integration, PM, and both electrical and mechanical engineering, focusing on automating manual processes. What originated from love has grown stronger with each passing day, leading us to our present position years later. We’re now engaged in an even broader range of solutions, working on projects in sectors such as automotive, logistics, transportation, laboratories, and various other industries.
Our driving motivation is crystal clear: We aim to unlock human potential by automating tasks to the fullest extent possible.
Additionally, KING Automation operates a sister facility in Joinville, Santa Catarina, Brazil, further expanding our reach and capabilities.
