Robot/PLC Programmer
Job duties:
– Assemble and install robotics equipment and related automated production systems, utilizing PLC skills in ladder logic.
– Operate, test, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair robots and other automated equipment, applying PLC skills in ladder logic.
– Conduct follow-up checks on implemented systems to ensure reliable equipment performance.
– Collaborate with automation engineers in a laboratory environment to develop PLCs.
– Work with complex, high-performance manufacturing systems.
– Create PLC and HMI control system interfaces for automated servo-mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment using SCL, Ladder, Siemens, and Delphi control software.
– Develop technical schedules for the inspection, repair, and maintenance of specialized instrumentation and control systems.
– Analyze technical specifications of mechatronic systems, subsystems, modules, and components.
– Install, repair, adjust, and test equipment and components to ensure proper system functionality.
– Communicate with machine operators to detect equipment issues, analyze malfunctions, and verify system problems.
– Provide electrical/mechanical installation support and technical expertise during new project launches.
– Enhance the performance of automated equipment, inspection equipment, and robotic work cells.
– Set up conveying, robotic handling, and flaming systems on molding machines.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automation/Controls, or a related technical field from an accredited college or university or an Associates Degree in a related field.
– Minimum of 48 months’ experience as a robot programmer, automation technician, mechanical technician, controls technician, or in a related field.

Electrical Controls Engineer II
Job duties:
– Design, develop, and supervise all aspects of electrical control systems, equipment, and machinery.
– Responsible for the installation and technical support of PLC-based hardware and software.
– Provide analysis related to the design, development, and implementation of hardware for products.
– Develop test strategies, devices, and systems.
– Performs stress and performance tests on a variety of computer hardware including circuit boards, processors and wiring.
– Perform a variety of tasks with general supervision, typically reporting to a supervisor or manager.
– The role requires a degree of creativity and latitude in problem-solving and design.
– Apply a disciplined, structured approach to design in industrial control systems.
– Create detailed process documentation and wiring schematics, as well as prepare software documentation.
– Will be in charge of conducting thorough research and preparing specifications, developing and testing prototype controls, and designing industrial control panels and integrated systems.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automation/Controls, or a related technical field from an accredited college or university or an Associates Degree in a related field.
– Minimum three (3) years of controls engineering experience or 5+ years with an Associates Degree.
– Extensive experience in managing increasingly complex machine and system control using a variety of off-the-shelf logic and motion control products, industrial PCs, and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
– Proficient in Rockwell (Allen Bradley) PLCs with a strong command of Ladder Logic programming, enabling effective development and implementation of control solutions.
– Experienced in troubleshooting assembly and start-up issues effectively, both in-facility and at customer locations.
– Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field, relying on experience and judgment to plan and achieve goals.
